Paging Reflections was a name I came up with to jump-start my personal bloggery. I picked these words because they abbreviate to PR, which is my field and what I had hoped my blog would address. About a year into blogging, I find myself blogging about PR now and then, but my favorite topic to blog about is branding. I call these B(R)ANDING segments because I feel the (R) is appropriate and thematic. Perhaps I should have named my blog that! Or perhaps I should create a topic for when I blog about PR. I have shifted to mostly a “professional-style” blog now that I use Twitter for all of my personal business. If you’d like to learn more about me and my daily goings on, I suggest you follow me on there (davidryancarr), but if you’re all about the marketing/advertising/public relations profession–or something close to it or if you just enjoy learning, reading or commenting about it–then this is the right place for you!

Dearest Davis (and I don’t mean the city in which you live — oops, was I not supposed to reveal that slice of info?):
Thank you for your thorough “About David” section. I’m a visual learner, so it would really be cool if you could add a picture. Or even an avatar/David-bot. Because I haven’t seen you in a while, and I’m just not sure I can remember who the H you are. Help a sistah out.
pea-ess) I refuse to accept that you’re a “professional” of ANYTHING other than flatulence.
